AeroPress coffee ratio
The AeroPress works with a wide range of ratios. Around 1:14 gives a regular cup. Down at 1:10 you get a strong concentrate you can dilute with hot water, which many people prefer.
Change any field and the others update. Typical range for AeroPress: 1:10 to 1:17.

- A 250 ml cup takes about 18 g of coffee at 1:14.
Steps
- Rinse the filter and set the AeroPress on your mug (standard or inverted).
- Add the coffee, pour the water, and stir for 10 seconds.
- Steep until about 1:30, then press slowly over 30 seconds.
- For a concentrate, add hot water to taste after pressing.
Tips
- Stop pressing when you hear the hiss. The last bit is mostly bitter.
- Darker roasts taste better at the cooler end of the temperature range.
