Kalita Wave coffee ratio
The Kalita Wave has a flat bed with three small holes, so water drains evenly and slowly. That makes it easy to repeat. Use 1:16 and keep the pours gentle.

- Pour twice the coffee weight in water and wait 30 seconds for the bloom.
- Pour the rest in two or three slow pours, keeping the water level steady. Aim to finish at about 3:00–3:30.
Tips
- Pour in the center and avoid the walls. The flat bed is sensitive to channels.
- If it drains in under 2:30, grind finer. If it stalls past 4:00, grind coarser.
